What you need to know about life before you hit 40 article What do you need before you reach 40 years old?
It’s not just a matter of getting older, it’s about what you do, says Dr. Dan Ariely, who founded the Arielys and Associates research group and writes The Future of Life Expectancy blog.
Arieles advice to people born after 1980 was that you should not delay starting a family or start taking on a lot of responsibilities to try to get your life in order.
You should not put too much pressure on yourself, and not be too ambitious.
If you have a lot to do, you should do it.
You don’t want to be doing things to make a living, but instead to get the life you want, Arielies research showed.
It also means you should be aware of your personal space and that you have the freedom to be yourself, he says.
“It is not just about how much you are going to have, it is also about how you live and how you treat yourself.”
When you hit the 40th birthday, you will need to find out what you have achieved and what you are striving for in life, Aries advice to you.
“You have to really live your life, you have to take responsibility for your own happiness, and you have got to have a sense of purpose in life,” Ariele says.
And if you are having difficulty with your relationship or family, you can always talk about it.
“If you are not having a good relationship, you could be able to work through it and have some fun with it and you can get to a place where you are able to be in a better place,” Aries says.
